IvyExec.com is a United States-based company that runs an online professional network for executives as well as an online recruitment firm. Ivy Exec, Inc. was founded in 2006 by a team of Columbia Business School alumni and is based in New York, New York. Ivy Exec helps various professionals and MBAs find jobs with companies. The company has over 300,000 members.
For job seekers, Ivy Exec has 2 levels of membership, Basic and All Access (which requires users to pay a subscription fee). It offers members the Ivy Exec Mentor Network, which connects professionals with 500+ volunteer executives for career brainstorming sessions. For employers, Ivy Exec sells recruitment services such as job postings, executive search, employment branding, sponsorship, and retained executive search. Ivy Exec pre-screens each applicant for membership, as well as each job posting. This strategy keeps only top level executives but also can do a dis service to its job posters because very qualified applicants are not forwarded to the potential employer based on Ivy Execs standards, and not necessarily the employers.
